Description
The Grand River Dam Authority is soliciting a lump-sum proposal for the design, fabrication, testing, galvanizing, packaging, and delivery of substation steel structures for the Claremore Interconnect project. The scope includes six 161-kV CCVT/CTPT combination support structures, one 161-kV double-bay 65-foot H-frame structure, anchor bolts, setting templates or cages, assembly bolts, grounding attachments, and other materials required for assembly and erection. The supplier must provide preliminary foundation reactions and anchor-bolt details with its proposal, followed by design calculations, fabrication and erection drawings, structural detail drawings, testing documentation, packing lists, and related submittals. Materials must be new, of domestic origin, and suitable for utility service. Structures must be fabricated and hot-dip galvanized in accordance with the specified ASTM, AISC, ASCE, and AWS standards, with no field welding required. Delivery is DDP and must be completed by September 1, 2027. Equivalent manufacturers may be proposed where permitted, but sole-brand or no-substitution items must match the specified manufacturer and part number. The bidder must identify authorized-distributor status, warranty applicability, and whether proposed items are new or refurbished.
