Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research for a future indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract to provide an accredited, nationally recognized commercial driver's license program at the Federal Correctional Complex Pollock. The program must provide Class A instruction, with Class B testing available when a student cannot successfully complete the Class A driving test, for incarcerated adult male students. The scope includes on-site classroom instruction; possible off-site hands-on vehicle and driving-skills training; instruction and testing for commercial learner's permits and CDL skills examinations; course registration, assessment, academic advisement, records, textbooks and other instructional materials; certificates of completion; and all applicable permit, licensing, and administrative fees. The contractor must provide curriculum materials, qualified and accredited instructional services, vehicles or other training equipment as required, and personnel able to satisfy facility security requirements. Online or computer-based training is not permitted. The anticipated structure is one 12-month base period plus four 12-month option periods, with firm-fixed unit prices based on each student.
