Description
Broward County seeks a vendor to deliver breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, Monday through Sunday, for approximately 40–50 clients. Meals must be nutritious and follow national dietary guidelines; lunch and dinner must include appropriately portioned desserts. The vendor must provide weekly menus in advance, accommodate daily therapeutic diet and allergy requirements, and keep allergy-specific meals separate from regular meals. Beverages and snacks may also be requested. Meals must be delivered in standard 12-by-20-inch stainless-steel steam-table pans. The scope includes scheduled delivery, food-safety and temperature compliance, maintaining adequate stock, and emergency food-supply availability. The bid lines request unit pricing for meals; the opportunity is identified as a one-time purchase. The vendor questionnaire is required with the response, though it may be submitted within three business days after the County's written request. Insurance verification may likewise be submitted after written request; the solicitation's insurance requirements include general liability, automobile liability when applicable, workers' compensation, and employers' liability.
