Description
Berkeley County Schools is requesting a quote for two complete cafeteria serving lines, including mobile hot/cold/frozen serving counters, utility counters, drop-in cold shelves, and cashier stands. The specified equipment must be new, commercial foodservice grade, meet applicable certifications, and meet or exceed the listed specifications; comparable models are acceptable if supported by manufacturer specifications and product literature. The quote must identify each item’s quantity, description, and price, and include shipping or freight charges, product photos and specifications, color choices, lead time, warranty information, and any applicable cooperative purchasing membership and contract number. The awarded vendor must furnish, deliver, and install the equipment, disassemble and remove the existing serving lines, and complete the work while school is closed to students, no later than April 2, 2027. Electrical and plumbing work is excluded. Vendors must provide two current references for relevant Child Nutrition Program experience or describe their planned processes if they lack that experience, and provide information about financial capacity and ability to meet delivery requirements.
