Description
The Archdiocese of Los Angeles, on behalf of its Category One E-Rate Connectivity Consortium, is soliciting proposals for high-speed Internet access and transport for participating elementary and high schools. Bidders may propose leased lit fiber with Internet, bundled non-fiber Internet access and transport, and associated network access equipment. Proposals may cover all participating schools or a subset, and the Consortium may award different services to multiple providers. Services must meet specified technical requirements, including requested speeds generally ranging from 1 Gbps to 5 Gbps, static routable IPv4 addressing, optional IPv6 addressing, no data-transfer limits or throttling, service-level agreements, and compatible customer-premises network equipment. Bidders must provide location-specific pricing for transport, Internet access, equipment, installation, construction, taxes, and other charges. Proposals must include qualifications, three comparable projects completed within the last three years, required licenses and E-Rate identifiers, insurance documentation, contract terms, certifications, and signed proposal materials. The contract is contingent on E-Rate funding and includes two one-year renewal options.
