Description
The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is soliciting bids for the OR22 Center St Bridge (Phase 1) Project located in Marion and Polk Counties, Oregon. The project involves the replacement and rehabilitation of the Center Street Bridge over the Willamette River in Salem, including demolition of the existing bridge, construction of new bridge foundations, piers, and superstructure, roadway approach work, and associated utilities and drainage improvements. Key elements include micropiles, drilled shafts, steel piles, post-tensioning, structural steel, bridge deck overlay, and installation of bridge rails and expansion joints. The project also includes extensive temporary traffic control, erosion control, and environmental measures, as well as asbestos abatement. The estimated project cost is over $30 million. The completion time is May 31, 2031. The class of work is Bridges and Structures. The project includes a fuel escalation clause and a 10% Indian Employment Preference goal. A mandatory prebid meeting will be held on August 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the ODOT Transportation Building in Salem, Oregon. Bids are due September 22, 2026 at 9:00 AM. Prequalification is required.
