Description
The City of Lynchburg, through its Procurement Division, is soliciting bids for the turn-key installation of a new Kolpak walk-in cooler at Heritage Elementary School. The existing cooler has reached the end of its useful life and requires replacement. The project includes the disconnection, disassembly, and removal of the old cooler, as well as the delivery, assembly, and installation of the new unit, including all associated refrigeration systems, electrical work, and accessories. The new cooler must be designed for indoor installation and maintain a temperature of 35 degrees Fahrenheit. The scope of work also includes the installation of new shelving and ensuring all work complies with local and national codes. The project must be completed by August 12, 2026.
