Description
The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction (NCDAC) is soliciting bids for an Agency Specific Term Contract to supply and deliver margarine and shortening on an as-needed basis to their Meat Processing Plant. These items are intended for use in fulfilling dietary requirements for the NCDAC. The contract will have an initial term of six months, starting July 1, 2026, with the option for the State to renew for an additional six-month term. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Ariba Network. Vendors are required to provide detailed product specifications, including ingredients, nutritional data, and allergen information. Samples may be requested prior to bid opening for non-approved product labels. Delivery is expected within ten consecutive calendar days after receipt of a purchase order, with specific delivery hours and locations provided. The contract award will be based on the lowest responsive bid that meets all specifications.
