Description
The City of Daytona Beach is soliciting bids from qualified fuel providers to supply and deliver 89 octane ethanol-free unleaded gasoline and #2 ultra-low dyed sulfur diesel to the Halifax Harbor Marina located at 450 Basin Street, Daytona Beach, FL. The contractor must be able to maintain bulk fuel storage facilities within an 80-mile radius of the marina and deliver requested amounts within 24 hours of order placement, including weekends and holidays. The contract is for an initial three-year term with two optional one-year renewals. Pricing is based on the OPIS Gross Daily Rack average posting from Jacksonville, FL, plus a fixed mark-up per gallon. Historical annual usage is approximately 110,000 gallons of unleaded gasoline and 125,000 gallons of diesel, with typical deliveries of 4,000-5,000 gallons. A 10% bid bond is required, and the successful bidder must provide performance security equal to 100% of the contract price. Insurance requirements include workers' compensation, commercial general liability ($1M per occurrence), automobile liability ($1M per occurrence), and contractors pollution liability ($5M per occurrence/aggregate).
