Description
The Town of Berwick is soliciting sealed bids for the conversion of the Berwick Central Fire Station's flat roof to a hip metal roof. The work includes installing a metal truss frame and standing seam metal roof panels, with adjustments to existing vents and exhausts. Bidders must hold the required Louisiana commercial general contracting license with a roofing and sheet-metal or related classification. Each bid must include a certified check, cashier's check, or qualifying bid bond equal to at least 5% of the proposal amount; the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds after award. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled, and the lowest qualified bid will be evaluated for award.
