Description
The South Dakota Department of the Military is soliciting Statements of Interest from architectural and engineering firms for all phases of professional consulting services associated with replacing three air-cooled condensing units serving Combined Surface Maintenance Shop #1. The scope includes site investigation, testing, surveying, unit sizing and mounting analysis, structural-integrity review, cost estimating, design development, and integration of energy-efficiency and cost considerations. The required AE team is expected to include architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering capabilities. The selected firm will support the project from initial planning and programming through final completion, including construction administration at a later date. Submissions will be evaluated on project approach, technical expertise, relevant experience and past performance, project management, knowledge of applicable state and National Guard requirements, sustainable design, project-manager availability, facility familiarity, and available resources. The Statement of Interest is limited to 20 pages and must include summarized team-member resumes, certification or licensure information, and specified project-history and past-performance details.
