Description
The Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts seeks a qualified firm or individual to provide professional legislative and governmental relations services supporting the Administrative Office of the Courts and the Board for Judicial Administration. The scope includes legislative and budget monitoring, bill and policy analysis, strategic consultation, communications and coordination with policymakers and stakeholders, legislative planning, testimony and meeting support, and preparation of briefings, written updates, bill summaries, impact memoranda, and strategic recommendations. The contractor must demonstrate at least five years of Washington State legislative and governmental relations experience, five years of experience developing legislative strategies and policy materials for executive leadership, and five years supporting clients during legislative sessions and interim periods. Required deliverables include weekly legislative-session reports, monthly interim reports, requested written analyses and memoranda, and an end-of-session report. The estimated contract value is $120,000 per year, with performance anticipated from November 1, 2026, through December 31, 2027, subject to possible extension.
