Description
The Borough of Bergenfield is seeking two part-time Code Enforcement Officers to enforce local codes, laws, regulations, and programs. This role involves office, investigative, and fieldwork, including responding to complaints, inspecting non-owner-occupied two-family homes, and issuing summons for ordinance violations. The position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and weekend availability. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and have strong communication and writing skills. Experience with GovPilot or SDL software is a plus. The hourly rate is a maximum of $20 per hour, with a maximum of 29 hours per week.
