Description
The City of Chandler is seeking qualifications for construction management services supporting construction of a new community garden and associated site improvements at 190 South Dakota Street. The project includes raised CMU garden beds, a retrofitted shipping container for storage and program space, a shade canopy, seat wall, fencing and gates, perimeter wall, pavers, decomposed granite paving, a decorative water feature, site lighting and electrical improvements, grading, site furnishings, landscaping, and irrigation. The Construction Manager will provide preconstruction assistance, construction management, weekly construction meetings, CPM schedule evaluation, review of RFIs and shop drawings, field directives, change orders, payment applications, public outreach, construction and special inspections, utility and permitting coordination, material testing and quality assurance, stakeholder coordination, project closeout, contractor red-line review, and oversight related to Community Development Block Grant funding. Questions must be submitted by email, and statements of qualifications must follow the RFQ document's submittal instructions rather than being submitted through the Arizona Procurement Portal.
