Description
This trade package covers excavation, backfill, and subgrade preparation, including shoring for below-grade structures, precast trench and conduit installation, and furnishing and installing below-grade precast vaults adjacent to existing structures. The work supports an airport substation upgrade involving replacement of existing transformers, switchgear, and related electrical systems. Construction must be phased while the airport remains operational 24 hours a day. The work must account for existing utilities, water pump stations, and biologically sensitive habitat, including requirements associated with the San Francisco garter snake Recovery Action Plan. The estimated trade-package value is $600,000, and the solicitation states a 100% CMD LBE participation requirement. Webcor prequalification requirements apply.
