Description
The Arkansas Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for a new, custom-fabricated 1,236-gallon, 304-grade stainless steel water tank to be mounted by the agency on a flatbed truck. The tank must be approximately 14 feet long, 68 inches wide, and 25 inches tall, fabricated from 1/4-inch stainless steel, fully welded around the mounting perimeter, pressure-tested to at least 5 PSI, and divided into at least eight baffled compartments. The specification also requires four 2-inch drain ports, an 8-inch fill port with riser and pressure/vacuum-relief cap, four 6-inch cleanout ports, and a computer drawing submitted with the bid. The bid must include an installation kit consisting of brass ball valves, galvanized pipe nipples and elbows, and stainless steel cam-lock connectors. The successful bidder must provide delivery within the quoted time, maintain replacement-parts inventory and service facilities, and provide warranty coverage for parts and labor. Manufacturer literature verifying compliance, documentation supporting the manufacturer's and model's production history, and detailed explanations of any deviations must accompany the bid. Delivery is to Central Shops or the Little Rock metropolitan area. Electronic bidding requires a Digital ID, and the bid deadline is September 29, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
