Description
Omnitrans is soliciting bids under IFB-SDD27-01 for a lump-sum contract to provide electric charging infrastructure equipment for the East Valley Maintenance Facility. The revised Cost File identifies one main switchgear assembly, one 225 kVA secondary unit substation, one charger-system distribution section, one 2.0-megawatt rectifier and charging container, 20 100-kilowatt charging cabinets, and 16 pantographs. Pricing must include all direct and indirect costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and supplies, and bidders must use the revised Cost File; failure to use it may result in disqualification. Any additional costs must be explained and attached to the Cost File, with attachments clearly marked “Cost File.” The equipment package includes associated transformers, disconnects, switchboards, controls, communications, cabling, accessories, testing, commissioning support, training, manuals, warranties, and spare parts. Installation is to be performed by the construction contractor, while the equipment manufacturer must provide installation instructions and support. Responses are submitted electronically through the online bidding system. The bid due date has been extended to November 6, 2026, at 3:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time.
