Description
NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit on a sole source basis with Sikorsky for the procurement of one SERVOCYLINDER, P/N: 70410-22910-045, NSN: 6615 011585985. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511 and the Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 6615. There are no drawings or data available, and the Government does not own the rights to this data, precluding procurement from additional sources. This solicitation is being issued under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as supplemented by FAR 6.302, indicating an intent to negotiate with only one responsible source. The agency anticipates receiving a single acceptable offer from Sikorsky, and award is expected under the existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00383-25-G-P401. Firms not already approved to manufacture this material must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR); however, the procurement will not be delayed for SAR approval. The Government intends to acquire these supplies using FAR Part 15 procedures, and market research indicates that FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) is not applicable. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, but any proposals received within 45 days of the synopsis date will be considered solely for determining if a competitive procurement is warranted. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation, posted to NECO, and no telephone requests or hard copies will be mailed.
