Description
CENIC is procuring Category One telecommunications services for California public libraries, including standalone data transmission, leased lit fiber, optional leased dark fiber, and Category One maintenance and operations. The procurement covers approximately 175 service units or fiber strands, with requested capacities ranging from 10 Mbps to 100 Gbps. Services include Metro Ethernet and dedicated lit DWDM- or direct-fiber-based point-to-point connections, as well as pairs of single-mode dark fibers connecting locations identified in the pricing exhibits. Installation and initial configuration are required. Respondents must submit the required Pricing Worksheet (Exhibit D); PDF and locked spreadsheet responses are not accepted. A signed Non-disclosure Agreement (Exhibit A), or confirmation that an NDA is already on file, is required before access to aggregation-hub addresses. Awarded contractors may also be required to support E-rate and California Teleconnect Fund discount reporting, invoicing, reconciliation, and audit inquiries.
