Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, Wildlife Services, seeks one SwiftBuilt 20-foot gooseneck steel stock trailer for field use. The trailer must include a bullet nose, front diamond-plate rock guard, 6.5-foot width, 5-foot sides with Rhino-lined interior to 12 inches, full top, rear swing/slider gate, roadside 4-foot escape gate, a 4-foot tack room, two 8-foot livestock compartments with a center dividing gate, and 2-inch single-lug board flooring with zero spacing. Required equipment includes two 7,000-pound torsion axles, brush-box fenders, 14-ply tires on 16-inch steel rims with a full-size spare, LED running lights every four feet, two interior LED lights, and two exterior work/loading lights. The tack room must have entry/exit doors on both sides, six saddle racks, eight blanket bars, two swing-out saddle racks, and six additional hooks. Components must be offered on the SwiftBuilt website rather than home- or custom-built without prior review, and the preferred color is Pearl with black trim or a lighter gray. The quotation must cover the trailer and shipping/delivery, with delivery required within 60 days after award. Award is anticipated as one firm-fixed-price purchase order on an all-or-none, lowest-price-technically-acceptable basis, considering technical acceptability and acceptable or neutral past performance.
