The U.S. Air Force intends to pursue a sole-source, firm-fixed-price requirements indefinite-delivery contract for repair services supporting fire control computers used in the B-1 ASQ-184 and B-52 AYQ-10 systems. The work includes planning, testing, repair, overhaul, replacement parts, quality systems, facilities, and engineering support needed to return unserviceable exchangeable units to a serviceable condition for return to Air Force Supply and to investigate deficiency reports involving nonperforming items. The notice identifies Lockheed Martin as the intended source because the Government lacks the technical data and data rights needed to compete the repairs. The notice is a presolicitation and not a request for proposals; interested parties may submit a statement of capabilities for the Government's consideration in determining whether competition is feasible. The listed NSNs are 1280-01-514-5459, 1280-01-512-1505, and 1280-01-619-1370.
