The City of Roseville is soliciting proposals for procurement and replacement of the end-of-life emergency backup generator, load bank, and diesel fueling system serving its Dual Purpose Pump Station. The contractor must provide a 500 kW, Tier 2 diesel generator system rated at 277/480 VAC, three-phase, 60 Hz, with an 800–1,000 gallon double-wall sub-base fuel tank, integral load bank, sound-attenuated enclosure, automatic controls, safety features, and applicable UL, CSA, NFPA, seismic, and electrical standards compliance. The scope includes equipment submittals, procurement, jobsite installation inspection, field and internal wiring terminations, labeling, startup, commissioning, load and load-bank testing, training, operation and maintenance documentation, spare parts, and a minimum two-year/2,000-hour manufacturer's warranty. The operating pump station must remain functional, and the contractor must coordinate outages or service interruptions with the City. The City will self-perform demolition, construction of the generator pad, conduit work, and conductor installation. Proposals must include qualifications, at least three similar references completed within the past five years, a project approach, cost information, required certifications and licenses, and the specified forms and supporting documents. The project is subject to prevailing-wage requirements; successful contractors must provide 100% faithful-performance and labor-and-materials bonds after award.
