Description
The City of Cambridge is soliciting instructors for two after-school course offerings through Cambridge Community Schools: culturally ethnic cooking instruction and STEAM through film, animation, and media arts instruction. Services are scheduled weekly from November 2, 2026, through June 17, 2027, generally between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., with each class lasting one hour. Vendors may bid on one or both sections, and instruction will be provided at a minimum of four and maximum of nine designated community school sites. The cooking instructor must provide culturally diverse recipes, instruction, preparation, food items, and necessary equipment for participating children. The media arts instructor must provide instruction using cameras, audio equipment, editing software, and related technology to create original videos. Both offerings require age-appropriate, inclusive curricula, flexibility regarding school schedules and available space, qualified instructors and substitutes, and CORI/SORI certification. The estimated quantities are 420 hours for cooking instruction and 280 hours for STEAM through film, animation, and media arts instruction. Bidders must submit hourly pricing, three similar-service references, required vendor information, quality-requirement confirmations, and signed standard compliance forms through the City's e-Procurement Portal.
