Description
This Sources Sought notice is for planning purposes only and is not a request for proposal. The U.S. Air Force is seeking capabilities packages from potential prime contractors for the repair of Taxiways Alpha and Bravo at North Auxiliary Airfield. The anticipated work includes pavement milling and overlay, concrete work, striping, joint sealing, airfield lighting, and related airfield paving activities. The estimated dollar magnitude is between $1 million and $5 million. Respondents must identify applicable socioeconomic status, state their intent to submit a future proposal or bid as a prime contractor, provide a DUNS number or CAGE code, and document similar experience completed within the last five years. Experience submissions must include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, the percentage and description of self-performed work, and customer points of contact. Respondents must also provide evidence of at least $5 million in bonding capability. The notice indicates that the future acquisition may be set aside or issued unrestricted depending on the level of qualified small-business interest, and that FAR 52.219-14 limitations on subcontracting may apply if set aside.
