Description
The City of Winston-Salem is soliciting sealed bids from a properly licensed general contractor for construction of a covered salt storage dome and related site improvements. The scope includes clearing, minor demolition and well abandonment, grading, storm drainage, erosion control, concrete and asphalt paving, site landscaping, chain-link fences and gates, and electrical service for the salt dome. This is a re-advertisement because fewer than the required three bids were received on October 1, 2026. A mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on September 16, 2026. Bidding documents must be obtained by emailing the designated contact. Sealed bids are due by 1:00 p.m. on October 8, 2026, at the specified purchasing office.
