Description
The State of Utah Division of Risk Management is seeking a public relations firm to support the Division, covered state entities, and legal representatives following significant claims or incidents with potential reputational impact. Services include developing and approving public and media messaging, responding to media inquiries, advising on public-relations strategy, reviewing public information, providing training when requested, and maintaining urgent contact availability. The contractor must be able to begin services within 12 hours of a significant incident or claim, communicate by telephone or in person, protect confidential and legally privileged information, and obtain approval before issuing communications. Proposals are evaluated on company experience, personnel expertise, response protocols, capacity and resources, and other services, with technical criteria weighted at 75% and cost at 25%.
