Description
The City is seeking a construction contractor to install approximately 6,200 linear feet of 3- to 24-inch water main and 540 linear feet of 8- to 36-inch sanitary sewer, along with related storm sewer work and miscellaneous improvements. The scope includes water services, valves, hydrants, sewer and storm sewer connections and replacements, abandonment of existing utilities, and associated excavation and utility coordination. The work also includes traffic control, pavement and sidewalk restoration, landscaping restoration, and related construction activities. Bids are submitted through the procurement portal, with unit prices entered in its bid tables. The solicitation requires a bid security equal to 10% of the base bid and requires bidders to perform at least 30% of the work with their own forces unless the Owner consents to a greater subcontracted share. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required to submit a bid.
