Description
Correctional Service of Canada intends to award a contract for 24-hour community residential facility services for adult offenders under federal jurisdiction who are on conditional or statutory release or subject to Long-Term Supervision Orders. Services include accommodation and meals, monitoring, supportive group living, referrals to community and health services, assistance with education, employment and life skills, first aid, medication and personal-effects storage, reporting, and static and dynamic security with staff awake and on site around the clock. Enhanced services may include substance-abuse treatment, correctional programming, classroom space, escorts, personal support workers, urine-sample collection, reporting-centre services, and Indigenous spiritual advisory services. The proposed contract runs from contract award through March 31, 2027, with eleven additional one-year extension options, and has an estimated total value of $9,580,116, taxes not applicable. The contractor must meet applicable legal, health, safety, building, fire, training, language, and security requirements, including a Designated Organization Screening, Protected B document safeguarding capability, and Reliability Status for personnel requiring access to protected information. Interested suppliers must submit a statement of capabilities demonstrating at least two years of recent experience working with adult offenders on conditional release and providing residential accommodation to offenders.
