Description
Dakota County seeks a contractor to purchase and replace existing Lenel Series 1 access-control panels, reader boards, input boards, and output boards with Lenel Series 3 equipment at five facilities. The scope includes five control panels, nine input boards, one input board of another specified type, and two output boards, installed on a one-for-one basis. The contractor should reuse existing enclosures where feasible, secure the boards in enclosures, transfer network information to the new control panels, land existing wires in corresponding locations, and test readers, inputs, and outputs after installation. The contractor must coordinate installation dates with the County project manager, who will program the panels in the Lenel software. The County permits subcontractors for work outside the prime contractor’s scope, with the prime contractor remaining responsible for their work. The proposal must include a transmittal letter, firm introduction, team organization, qualifications and experience, work plan and budget, conflict-of-interest information, exceptions and deviations, and the firm’s position on contract terms. It must also address the County’s trade-secret information process if applicable.
