Description
Dakota County seeks qualified contractors to provide as-needed outside-plant and inside-plant fiber optic services. Work may include new fiber builds, relocation of existing infrastructure, general maintenance, troubleshooting, splicing, testing, restoration, and documentation. The County may award one or more contracts and issue individual work orders during the contract term; contractors will be selected for each project based primarily on price and availability. The scope also includes 24/7/365 emergency outage response, with stated response and restoration targets for critical and other outages. Proposers must complete both tabs of the requirements spreadsheet, indicate which requirements they can fulfill, and provide rates for services, equipment, and other billable items. The proposal must also address company qualifications and experience, team organization, similar work, conflicts of interest, exceptions, and willingness to accept the County's contract terms. Minimum qualifications include at least five years of experience across the scope and an established presence in Minnesota.
