Description
Auburn University is soliciting bids for the exclusive hunting lease of its 248-acre McClure Tract in Sumter County, Alabama. The lease grants the lessee rights to hunt, fish, and pursue legal game species, subject to the lease agreement's access, safety, wildlife, property-use, and operational restrictions. The lease term is 60 months, covering October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2031, with annual rental payments bid for each lease year. The minimum annual rent is $10 per acre, and the lessee must maintain hunting lease liability insurance throughout the term, provide required disclosures and lease documents, comply with applicable hunting laws, and manage member and guest access. Pricing represents 100% of the evaluation criteria.
