Description
The City of Rocky Mount Water and Sewer Division is soliciting a contractor to provide bush-hog mowing and trimming services for approximately 316,699 feet of utility right-of-way areas. Work includes cutting from tree line to tree line, trimming around manholes, fire hydrants, valves, and valve signs, reporting damage discovered during operations, and completing each numbered section before requesting inspection. The contractor must provide safe, operable equipment and perform the work under wet conditions when required. The proposal must include pricing for two scheduled cuts, vendor experience and organizational information, at least three references for similar bush-hog services, required licenses, and the specified completed attachments and certifications. The initial contract term runs from award through June 2028, with a possible extension by mutual agreement. A Certificate of Insurance is required before award.
