Description
The City of Sugar Land is seeking one or more vendors to furnish and deliver water distribution parts for its Public Works department. The solicitation covers brass fittings and valves, saddles, meter boxes and washers, full-circle and other clamps, couplings, rods, sleeves, hydrant adapters, locks, bolts, nuts, sampling stations, and related miscellaneous parts. Bidders must provide unit pricing for specified estimated quantities and a percentage discount for additional parts across the listed categories. Products must be new and meet the stated quality, potable-water, NSF/ANSI, AWWA, and lead-free requirements where applicable; equivalent products may be proposed with supporting explanations. The contract is intended to support just-in-time inventory replenishment, with normal stock orders due within five working days, emergency vendor-stocked orders within four hours, and special-order parts within ten working days. The initial term runs from contract execution through September 30, 2027, with four additional one-year renewal terms. Required bid materials include the pricing forms and the listed signed and dated vendor forms. The selected contractor must maintain the specified insurance coverage, although insurance documentation is due after award and before work begins.
