Description
The Federal Highway Administration is soliciting bids for repairs at two locations on Road 107 in Olympic National Park. Work includes reconstructing an eroded streambank with riprap and root wads, constructing engineered log jams with concrete dolosse, and installing erosion-control measures, plantings, and temporary traffic controls. The plans include two bid schedules: Schedule B uses tree-bark-textured concrete dolosse, while Schedule A uses standard concrete dolosse; bidders must price both schedules. The project also requires a temporary kiosk with power, telecommunications, lighting, and specified amenities. The contractor must provide construction surveying, quality control and testing, scheduling, general labor, and equipment as listed in the bid schedules. The solicitation is full and open, with a stated estimated price range of $2 million to $5 million.
