Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center requires insulation and weather-protective lagging for approximately 75 to 100 linear feet of outdoor, 2-inch copper piping. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, and incidentals; install pre-formed fiberglass or closed-cell elastomeric insulation with an aluminum all-weather jacket; and meet the applicable Washington State Energy Code insulation requirements. The finished system must protect against weather, UV exposure, water intrusion, and moisture buildup while maintaining access to valves, joints, flanges, sensors, and pumps.
