Description
The Kansas Department of Transportation is soliciting consulting services for construction inspection on multiple highway projects in various Kansas counties and critical path method (CPM) technical assistance for two projects. Inspection scopes include grading, bridge, and surfacing work, while CPM support includes schedule-update meetings, review of baseline and progress schedules, change-order fragnets, time-extension requests, and regular schedule-performance reporting using SmartPM-preferred analysis software. Construction inspection firms must be prequalified by KDOT in Category 241, although firms not currently prequalified may submit documentation demonstrating the required qualifications using the KDOT prequalification form. CPM services do not require Category 241 prequalification. Proposals must exclude all cost or pricing information, follow the stated page limits, and include a one-page cover letter, project-specific approaches and qualifications, familiarity with KDOT and the project area, past performance with three references, quality-control methods, and the completed October 2026 Construction Inspection and CPM Interest and Preference Form. A single PDF proposal, accompanied by the required tax-clearance, sexual-harassment-policy, and covered-telecommunications certification materials, must be uploaded through Bid Express.
