Description
The Orange County Sanitation District is soliciting a contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, bonds, permits, licenses, transportation, and incidentals necessary to procure, remove, transport, dispose of, and replace fouled biofilter media in the Truck Loading Biofilter System at Plant No. 2. The work includes cleaning and preparing the system, installing replacement media procured directly from Biorem, protecting existing utilities and facilities, restoring disturbed areas, and keeping no more than one biofilter cell out of service at a time. The contractor must coordinate with Biorem for installation guidance, startup support, operator training, and media-elevation verification. Bidders must satisfy specified safety, licensing, registration, financial, insurance, and subcontractor requirements, including submission of required safety records and certifications. The contract duration is 84 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed.
