Description
This Sources Sought notice requests capability information, not proposals or quotes, for a one-year contract to provide bins, pick up and transport non-hazardous rubber and polyethylene products, and dispose of them at licensed and authorized landfill facilities on Oahu. The estimated requirement is up to 40 loads and 250 total tons, with an average load of approximately six tons. Materials may include uncut heavy-duty hoses with internal wire, embedded steel, and external metal fittings; any required cutting, shredding, separation, metal extraction, or residual-component disposal is the contractor’s responsibility at no additional cost. The contractor must provide replacement bins, respond to pickup notifications within three business days, maintain uninterrupted bin circulation, provide signed manifests or bills of lading and final-disposal documentation for each load, and identify a primary and backup disposal facility before award. Respondents must submit organizational information and a tailored capability statement addressing the requirement. The draft PWS also identifies Hawaii solid-waste permitting, environmental, safety, security, background-check, U.S. citizenship, and base-access requirements for eventual contract performance.
