Description
The Municipal Sewer Authority of New Kensington is seeking a contractor for a five-year service agreement covering two Turblex KA10SV-GK200 compressors at its wastewater treatment plant. The factory service program includes five annual visits, annual tune-up inspections, one Class I service for each compressor, and one Class II service for compressor serial number 7791. Typical service parts and other replacement parts are excluded from the proposal; the successful bidder must provide a list of anticipated service parts and tools. The contractor must supply any tools needed for the specified maintenance, while the Owner will provide available on-site lifting equipment and will complete the required pre-service checklist and mandatory lifting report. Bids must include a 10 percent bid bond or certified check, an executed non-collusion affidavit, and a Public Works Employment Verification Form. Performance and payment bonds, insurance documentation, and other contract-execution requirements apply after award.
