The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, intends to purchase 100 each Heater Space kits, part number 5013923C, NSN 4520-01-621-5462, for 29-foot Response Boats—Small. The specified product is a 12-volt diesel heater kit without ducting, with horizontal heat delivery, a stationary discharge outlet, thermostatic control, and a burner heating element. The requested manufacturer is Webasto Product North America Inc., with manufacturer part number 5001451A. This is a brand-name-only commercial-products procurement because the Government states that the required technical data and OEM manufacturing information are unavailable and that alternate products would not satisfy its performance, fit, form, and function requirements.
