Description
Montgomery County Public Schools is soliciting bids for the furnishing and delivery of boiler supplies and associated materials, including manufacturer-specific boiler parts, boilers, burner parts, valves, fittings, pumps, controls, filters, tanks, pipes, gauges, seals, and related heating and air-conditioning accessories. Bidders are generally to quote a single percentage discount from applicable manufacturer or dealer price lists, with estimated annual usage amounts provided by item. The solicitation includes 64 line items and permits awards by individual item or groups of similar items. The initial contract term is November 15, 2026, through November 14, 2027, with up to four additional one-year extensions. Deliveries are generally required within 10 days after receipt of a purchase order, and the buyer may add or remove items and add suppliers during the contract term. Bidders must submit the completed bid documents, applicable manufacturer price lists or catalogs, and three customer references; descriptive literature is required when offering substitutions or when otherwise requested. Bid security and a performance bond are required, with the performance bond due after award.
