Description
The Seminole Tribe of Florida's Housing Department is soliciting bids for a fence installation project at an off-reservation site. The contractor must supply and install approximately 400 linear feet of natural, pressure-treated wood fencing; one four-foot standard gate return; and one 12-foot-wide by six-foot-high manual vehicle gate. The work includes installing posts in concrete, providing all gate hardware, scheduling utility locates, supplying labor, materials, equipment, and supervision, and cleaning the jobsite daily. Bidders must have an active funded service agreement with the Tribe's Housing Department, hold the applicable current contractor license, and demonstrate at least five years of similar experience. Subcontracting requires advance written approval and disclosure in the bid. The bid must include the required exhibits, including a completed schedule of values, proposed subcontractor list, drug-free workplace form, project schedule, and addenda acknowledgment. Services must commence within 30 calendar days after receipt of a purchase order or notice to proceed and be completed within 90 calendar days, unless otherwise determined by the Tribe. Required insurance includes commercial general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation or an applicable exemption, with specified minimum limits and additional-insured requirements.
