Description
The City seeks as-needed emergency maintenance and repairs to properties, and relocation of occupants when directed. Work may include electrical, HVAC, carpentry and general repairs, plumbing, and roofing. The contractor must visit each property within 24 hours of notification, provide a written estimate, and complete approved emergency repairs within five days of notification. The contractor supplies the tools, equipment, labor, and materials; permits must be obtained when required, and completed repairs require sign-off by the Housing Inspector. Calls have a two-hour minimum. Bidders must document at least five years of construction and property-management experience and submit a copy of a current, unrestricted Construction Supervisors License. The bid also requests hourly rates for the listed trades and a materials markup capped at 15%. The initial contract term is one year, with City options to renew for a second and third year.
