Description
The U.S. Navy requires remediation, preparation, and painting services for active microbial growth in 22 designated barracks rooms and associated bathrooms. The contractor must provide all labor, supplies, and equipment; eradicate microbial growth using approved EPA-registered disinfectants, botanical biocides, or antimicrobial solutions; remove failed paint and treat substrates; apply mold- and mildew-resistant sealing primer; and apply at least two coats of matching mold- and mildew-resistant paint to ceilings and walls. The estimated total surface area is 22,408 square feet. The work includes cleanup, debris removal, protection and relocation of furnishings as needed, compliance with installation access and safety requirements, and coordination to minimize interference with ongoing operations. The contractor must complete the work within 60 calendar days after award. The procurement is limited to the General MACC contractors listed in the solicitation, and award is based on lowest price. The stated project range is $25,000 to $100,000.
