Description
Carroll County and its Department of Recreation and Parks are seeking a landscape architectural and engineering firm to provide complete professional services for Krimgold Park Phase III. The scope includes surveying; conceptual and design development drawings; cost estimating; interdepartmental coordination and submittals; construction bid documents; pre-bid and preconstruction meeting attendance; and construction administration through the final construction punch list. The proposed improvements include two softball fields, one multipurpose field, parking and roadways, two pickleball courts with a shaded patio, walking paths, player and spectator amenities, disc golf course reconfiguration and signage, site furnishings, and landscaping. Design must address ADA compliance, site grading, field drainage, onsite stormwater management, applicable Carroll County and Maryland regulations, existing park operations, easements, natural resources, and integration with prior park phases. Permanent athletic field, court, parking, and site lighting are excluded. The total project budget is approximately $15 million, inclusive of design, bidding, construction, and closeout activities.
