The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of General Services (DGS) is soliciting qualifications for a statewide Security, Surveillance, and Fire System Maintenance Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) Contract. Contractors who meet the qualifications will be eligible to respond to future Requests for Quotes (RFQs) for these services for Commonwealth agencies. The ITQ covers a range of systems including Fire Detection Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, Security Detection Systems, CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems, Security Communication Systems, Material/Substance Detection Systems, Emergency Communication Systems, and Special Surveillance Equipment/Systems. Services include acceptance testing, system commissioning, monitoring, preventative maintenance, repair, testing, training, and upgrades to existing systems. Installation of systems and services requiring construction, design, or structural alteration are excluded. Contractors must be OEMs or authorized dealers/resellers and must demonstrate at least two years of experience in the relevant commodity codes. Manufacturer authorization letters are required if the contractor is not the OEM. Additional certifications and forms, including Iran Free Certification, Worker Protection and Investment Certification, and Lobbying Certification, are also required for qualification. Submissions are to be made electronically through the JAGGAER portal.
