Description
The City of Macon is soliciting sealed bids for a single-prime, unit-price construction contract covering pump station renovation and sewer system inspection and rehabilitation, with additive and deductive alternate bid items identified in the Bid Form. The project is funded by the Appalachian Regional Commission and requires compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, including payment of prevailing wages to laborers and mechanics. Bid security is required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Minority- and woman-owned businesses are solicited as prime contractors and encouraged to pursue subcontracting opportunities.
