Description
Smith County School District is soliciting bids for four factory-new multiprocess welding machines meeting the specified capabilities for its Career Center Welding Technology Program. The requested equipment must support SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and carbon arc gouging; be compatible with ArcLink feeders and CrossLinc; include Touch Start TIG; and have a heavy-duty industrial design suitable for fabrication and industrial maintenance. The specified product is a FLEXTEC 350X Power Connect / DLF 84 Ready-Pac, Product #K5922-1, or an approved equivalent. The proposal must provide an all-inclusive solution, including required accessories, components, configuration, technical support, warranty, freight, delivery, setup, and any other costs necessary for fully functional operation. Equipment must be new and purchased from an authorized reseller; used, grey-market, and third-party equipment will not be accepted. The unpriced proposal must include the completed unpriced proposal form, completed W-9, and relevant product or service documentation, with pricing submitted later during the reverse auction. Delivery and acceptance are required no later than November 1, 2026.
