Description
Robla School District is soliciting proposals for installation and ongoing point-to-point lit fiber optic Ethernet transport services, or point-to-multipoint equivalent service, supporting the district's sites. Proposers must provide pricing for 100 Mbps, 250 Mbps, 500 Mbps, and 1 Gbps bandwidth options, with detailed billing, incremental upgrade and downgrade options, IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging at the host site, and service-level agreement information. The awarded provider will own and maintain the included equipment, provide new equipment and manufacturer warranties, and be a certified reseller. Special construction and non-recurring costs must be separately identified and handled as specified in the RFP. The district requests pricing for either a 36-month term with two one-year extensions or a 60-month term. The proposal must include an implementation timeline beginning July 1, 2027, three reference sites using the provider's service for at least three years, and required E-Rate credentials and certifications, including a valid SPIN, FCC Registration Number, and FCC Green Light status. The contract and services are contingent on E-Rate funding and district approval. The solicitation is being re-bid because the existing circuit contract is ending, and the district expects continuity of service if the incumbent is selected.
