Description
The USDA Forest Service intends to restrict competition for repair services for a Forest Service-owned skid steer used in wildfire suppression, fire and fuels work, terrain management, and emergency response operations. The equipment is dismantled and inoperable and is undergoing diagnostic evaluation at Western States CAT in Fruitland, Idaho. The Government anticipates restricting the work to the vendor currently possessing the equipment to avoid transportation costs, delays, and duplicated diagnostic work. Interested sources that believe they can meet the requirement should submit a capability statement; this notice is not a solicitation or request for quotations.
